
In the Shortcut tab, Click Change Icon button. To change the icon to the correct image select Recycle Bin and click Properties. However, its default icon is a ‘folder’ icon. The Recycle Bin folder is now available in Start Menu. Type a name for the shortcut such as ‘Trash’ or ‘Recycle Bin’. The Create Shortcut dialog box opens. In order to access the Recycle Bin directly from the Start Menu, you need to add a shortcut to the start menu.

You have probably noticed that you cannot simply select Start and type Recycle Bin in the search bar to access the feature.
